Saddlers midfielder Isaac Hutchinson took home three prizes at Sunday’s End of Season Awards dinner.
The 24-year-old won the coveted Supporters Player of the Season award as well as winning Goal of the Season for his strike against Colchester United in September and claiming a trophy for finishing as the team’s Top Goalscorer with 15 goals from midfield in all competitions.
Elsewhere, goalkeeper Jackson Smith won the Supporters Young Player of the Season award while Brandon Comley picked up the Players’ Player of the Season gong.
Defender Liam Gordon was also recognised for his consistent performances this season as our 1888 Lounge members voted him as their Player of the Season.
Captain Donervon Daniels was also rewarded for his efforts out in the Community and his involvement in a number of projects with Walsall FC Foundation, collecting the Community Player of the Season award.
Walsall FC Foundation also rewarded Rus Smith with the Community Champion award.
Two academy players were also honoured as Dylan Thomas was named Apprentice of the Season while Cayden Bennett was presented with a shirt in recognition of him earning his first senior cap for Saint Kitts & Nevis back in March.
We also recognised the efforts of supporters as Freya Hemmings and Josh Rainer jointly claimed the Fan of the Season award.
Long Service awards were also presented to staff members who have dedicated over 20 years of service to Walsall Football Club.
